Leah Clearwater is a consultant and educator with over 28 years’ experience in the wine industry. Holding a PhD in Viticulture and Oenology, she began her career in wine production and was a lecturer at Curtin University before moving into various senior roles including sales and marketing, business consulting and winery management.

Leah has worked extensively with wineries on brand and business strategy, direct-to-consumer models, domestic and export market development, staff training and digital communications. Known for her engaging and practical approach, she is leading local businesses to elevate their brand storytelling, customer experience, and commercial success. Leah offers the unique advantage of understanding the inner workings of the wine sector, from vineyard to cellar door to digital personality, ensuring solutions that are not only authentic to individual brands but industry and culturally aligned.

Leah also runs her wine consulting business, Clearwater Wine and the new Margaret River Wine Academy wine school launched earlier this year.
